Tri-River Capital's team brings together a combination of investment banking, accounting, financial management, securities trading and operating experience. This experience is focused on client solutions to create value.
Our breadth of transactional experience, including mergers and acquisitions, public equity and debt financings, private placements, and valuations and fairness opinions helps us consider all alternatives in helping clients decide what to do. We try to cover all the bases. Here’s who we are:
Milt Walters, Founder. Milt has more than 40 years of investment banking experience including Warburg Paribas Becker (19), Smith Barney (4), Prudential Securities (2) and Tri-River Capital (18). He led Becker’s and Smith Barney’s Financial Institution Groups, and established Becker’s Capital Markets Desk and initiated Prudential Securities underwriting of Collateral Loan Obligations. Milt sits on the Boards of DecisionOne (www.DecisionOne.com), Fredericks of Hollywood (www.Fredericks.com), and Sun Healthcare Group (www.SUNH.com). Milt is a graduate of Hamilton College. He is a Professional Member of the NACVA and a member of the NACD.
Andy Cooley, Associated Expert. Andy has more than 30 years of securities industry experience including Warburg Paribas Becker (8), Merrill Lynch (13), and BankAmerica Securities (11). At Merrill he was the Managing Director and Global Head of Debt Capital Transactions. He held the same position at BankAmerica for Financial Services Companies. Andy's transactional experience includes a broad array of public debt and equity financings. In recent years his focus was on large global financings for Ford Motor Credit, Chrysler Financial, and BankAmerica. He was also active in hybrid financings for MBIA, Assured Guaranty and FIGIC.
